Perception of Winning

  

One of the more recent projects completed by Proshow Systems was the integration of the slot management system with audio, video and intelligent lighting to increase the “perception of winning” on the casino floor.  

Since the inception of coin-less machines, the visual and auditory perceptions of the patron have been anti-climatic at best. While the “bells and whistles” of the machines have been maximized, the integration of the Perception of Winning audio visual system (POW!a/v) generates the excitement of winning across the entire casino floor.  

This system integrates seamlessly with the SCALA product already in place. It receives a signal which already exists from the slot management software, which connects to a computer that triggers audio, lighting and video cues. These cues can be programmed to almost any specification.

 
 

For example, any denomination winners name (taken from the player’s club card) could be placed on the SCALA screens, an announcement would take over the background music system stating to the entire casino that another win has taken place and the lighting moves to the area that the win happened. Not only does the patron who won realize his/her win in a climatic fashion, the entire casino understands that there has been another win on the floor.  

Proshow Systems was instrumental in the search for the hardware that completed the automation of this system. It now takes its cues directly from the slot management software, and can be run completely without any additional hardware in between the slot management software and the “cue computer”.  

The system is entirely scalable to fit almost any budget, and has been in flawless operation for several weeks. Proshow is pleased to announce that this system is now available for distribution to other properties.
